Wicklow Pride® is a grassroots LGBTQIA+ organisation founded in 2014 in Arklow to promote equality, inclusion, visibility, and community across County Wicklow and beyond. Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, we work to create safe, welcoming spaces where LGBTQIA+ people, their families, friends, and allies can connect, learn, and thrive. Our work includes community events, social gatherings, coffee mornings, educational talks, advocacy campaigns, awareness initiatives, and Pride celebrations. We actively campaign for LGBTQIA+ rights, challenge discrimination, and work with public bodies, community groups, and businesses to help build a more inclusive society for everyone. Wicklow Pride® is committed to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds, whether they are exploring their identity, looking for community connections, or seeking opportunities to get involved in positive social change. There are many ways to get involved. If you’d like, you can join us for the amazing Tree Top Walk and take in the breathtaking views. Not planning on doing the walk? No worries! Simply meet us at the Avondale Café at 1:00pm for coffee, lunch, and a friendly catch-up. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a volunteer, supporter, member of the LGBTQIA+ community, an ally, or simply interested in finding out more about Wicklow Pride® Foundation. The Treetop Walk and The Viewing Tower are fully accessible for wheelchair users and anyone with mobility challenges, with no greater than a 6% gradient throughout the walkway. We are officially home to Ireland's first outdoor wooden marble run! Grab your marble and watch it go! Race your friends, family or fellow guests. Watch your marble speed through over 50 meters of intricate wooden maze. Marble run is an optional extra (€2 per marble) Also.. you get to keep your wooden marble as a reminder of the adventure! Get ready for an evening of laughter, amazement and unforgettable entertainment as internationally renowned hypnotist Stefan Gathmann takes to the stage for a spectacular Fun Hypnosis Night in aid of Wicklow Pride Foundation. Whether you choose to volunteer for the stage or simply sit back and enjoy the show, you're guaranteed a night packed with comedy, audience participation and mind-bending hypnosis. Every performance is unique, making this an event you'll be talking about long after the night is over. All proceeds from the event will help support the work of the Wicklow Pride Foundation, enabling the organisation to continue providing inclusive community events, education, advocacy and support for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies across County Wicklow.
